I am subletting my master bedroom for the summer. The room is available from the 6th of August to mid-September (exit date is flexible).
The room is in a 5 bedrooms house in Redwood city right on the limit with Atherton, west of El Camino on the I-84 (25 minutes from campus either by car or bike - I personally bike to campus everyday) It is a master bedroom with a large sleeping area, a working area with large glass openings to the garden (very nice place to work) and a private bathroom. The room has its private door. It is very large with a large sleeping area separated by a hallway from the small office.
It is fully furnished with:
1) A king size bed;
2) Two shelving units and a drawer unit ;
3) Two one-person sofas ;
4) A desk with an office chair, a 24 inch screen and a small sound system.
5) A long side table (in front of bed in the pictures)
6) A closet.
The room will be free of any private belongings. Common areas include a big living room with a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, gaz stove, microwave,...) as well as a garden with a small terrace. I live with 4 other Stanford grad students (econ and physics) who are all friends and with whom I have never had any problem.
The cost is $300/week including utilities and bi-weekly gardening. I am ready to consider subletting to a couple at a higher price. The house also has cable (comcast) and wifi.
Let me know if you are interested or have any other question. More pictures and information are available on demand.
Best,
Fred
