I've recently arrived from Europe and am looking for a room in a friendly flat or house within cycling distance to Stanford (Menlo Park/Palo Alto). I am female and in my thirties and am looking for an International household that is fun and likes to share but doesn't host parties every night. Am a Stanford Post-Doc who plays D&D and computer games (thus a bit of a nerd) but also likes animals and plants (studied Biology) and would love to get a fish tank. Room preferably furnished and rent < 1000 USD.
