I'm a 23 year old male and an incoming first year grad student to the Statistics department. I'm looking for a room/apartment within biking distance (less than 4 miles) to campus, to lease for an entire year from September 2012 to September 2013.

I'm quiet and reserved towards strangers, but social and goofy towards people I know. I'm very considerate, and I absolutely HATE feeling like an inconvenience to others. I enjoy cooking for myself and others. I'm handy around the house, and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment that comes with fixing up something that's broken. I have previously lived in student co-ops, so I am used to contributing a few hours of my time do to house chores every week.

I've lived with both genders previously and have no preference when it comes to housemates. Pets are okay. Move-in date is flexible.

With all that out of the way, here's some information about me personally:

I'm a house DJ and a vintage moped enthusiast. They are both a big part of my life, though I won't have time to do either during the school year. I love listening to music, but hate forcing others to listen to my music (read: I don't play loud music). I'm a moderate gamer. I enjoy movies and TV, especially well written crime dramas (The Wire, Sherlock...) or quirky British comedies (Ricky Gervais Show, Peep Show, IT crowd...). I love getting to know friends over a meal or a beer. I also enjoy travelling. I try hard to free up the time to jog 2-3 miles daily.

Please contact me if you are interested in having a low key, considerate and friendly roommate who pulls his own weight around the house. I can meet for a viewing within half a day's notice.

Thanks!
