We are a faculty family and live on the Stanford Campus. We are seeking after school care for our two very loving and fun boys ages 8 and 5. Our wonderful part time nanny of two plus years is going back to school which is why we are looking for a new babysitter or nanny now. Our boys enjoy after school sports and music, and in their free time love art projects, Legos, going on bike rides/scooters, going to the pool, reading, having playdates etc. We are looking for someone who will actively engage with the children to provide a semi-structured and nurturing, long-lasting relationship.
Ideally we are looking to hire a nanny with a schedule of M/W/F late afternoons - tho this is somewhat flexible. In addition to childcare, we can offer more hours if you are open to coming a little before the children get out of school in order to help with walking our dog and doing light housekeeping (emptying the dishwasher, folding clothes). In total, we are offering approximately 10-20 hrs/week. [Our friends have similar needs and would be interested in providing similar work for you on T/Th afternoons if that appeals to you.]
You must have a driver's license and clean driving record. Bi-lingual Spanish and English is a plus, though not required.
