I'm a Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineer who is about to come to Stanford for a postdoc. I'll be coming along with my wife and our 11 month old puppy (spayed pointer-setter mix, 35 lbs). We are a clean, quiet, responsible and easy-going couple (9 years together, 8 months married) with various interests and hobbies. Our main activities include tennis, reading, guitar, hiking, music, cooking, camping (outdoor activities in general), having interesting conversations, and in general exploring new places and meeting new interesting people. We are also trying to be waste-conscious and environmental friendly. In general, I would describe us both social and independent, but extremely quiet and respectful in any case. We aren't big drinkers, but we would enjoy a beer or a glass of wine along with some good company! Our puppy is very smart, quiet, house and crate trained, capable of following the basic obedience orders.
We are looking for a dog friendly room or house share and we are open to both fixed term or month to month leases. Our budget could be anywhere from $1100 to $1800 depending on the house, its location and amenities offered. Our move in date could be from late March to early/mid April.
