I am looking for a room in a shared flat/house within biking distance to Stanford ASAP.
I will be a PostDoc in the Genetics Department starting from 1st of March. I am from Cologne (Germany) and lived in Berlin to do my PhD in the last 6 years.
I have lived in many different cities and countries (Boston, NYC, Valencia, Barcelona and other German cities) - most of the time in shared flats, thus I have a lot of experience living in shared flats. I would consider myself a very positive, drama-free and laid back but responsible person - but you better have to judge this yourself.
I am a very social person that likes to hang out with friends on weekends and invite them for long dinners with good home-made food and talk over a couple of wine bottles about life. I like to party hard on weekends, and usually dig myself under books and papers to read for work on weekdays.
I am non-smoker but do not care about smoke. I like dogs, rather than cats, but I do not have one.
I am looking for open-minded flat mates that have seen more of the world than their university campus, enjoy good drinks, good food, music, parties and like to socialize.
