The Openproof project at the Center for the Study of Language and Information (CSLI) is looking for Stanford students who have familiarity with a natural language apart from English, for software internationalization. The students are expected to translate files containing text fragments such as appear in the interfaces of software applications (menu items, buttons, dialogs and so on) from English to another language (Spanish, Japanese, German, etc). We expect to hire one student for each target language. Native speakers preferred.
