Rent-My-Bike is a bike rental business locating in Palo Alto, CA. Our business focuses on renting basic commuter bikes at a low cost to short-term (a few days to a few months) visitors in the area (Stanford, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Mountain View).
This summer, we are launching "100 bike campaign", the partnership between Rent-My-Bike and SEALNet (a non profit student organization) to rent 100 unused bikes from Stanford students to summer visitor in the area. Half of the profit from this campaign will be used for supporting SEALNet's community service projects. Our target prospective renters include visiting students + researchers at Stanford, as well as summer interns at various companies in Silicon Valley.
Bike Rental Campaign Advocator will have the following responsibilities:
1. Doing research on what companies, schools and conferences are there that may attract people from out of town to the area during the summer.
2. Making phone calls/ emails to key people from these companies/schools/conferences that could help getting us to our prospective renters.
