Would you like to experience virtual reality?

The Stanford University Departments of Communications and Psychiatry are investigating body image in virtual reality. Participants will come to the Virtual Human Interaction Lab for a one-time visit, during which we will ask you a few questions and show you several virtual worlds.

We hope that this preliminary study will help us understand more about virtual reality and body image, so that we can create new, cutting-edge treatments to help young women feel better about their bodies.

We are now recruiting:
• Female Stanford students
• Between the ages of 18-30
• Interested in body image or
• technology
• Willing to answer questions about body image

Participation requires one hour and is completed at our lab in building 120. All participants will receive $10 as compensation.

There are very few spaces available to participate in this study. If you are interested, please reply to clare.purvis@stanford.edu as soon as possible to see if you are eligible!

Thank you!
