Hello
I am a returning Stanford alumnus in the School of Engineering - I finished my Master's in 2011, and will be returning this fall for a PhD. I was not able to secure housing through the lottery at Stanford.
I am looking for housing at least for the Fall Quarter. My top preference is a 2 BR house on the Farm shared with another person but would also be open to other housing options near campus.
I have been working as a professional in Seattle since graduation. I am a very neat person; I like to keep the public areas clean - not leave dishes in the sink, keep the kitchen counters and toilet clean and vacuum regularly. I am also pretty quiet, do not bring overnight guests and don't usually stay up late. I don't smoke and don't have any pets. That said, I enjoy socializing when I'm not too busy and on the weekends - go to a party, hang out or go outdoors with friends. I enjoy riding my bike. I also like to cook, and sometimes cook nicer meals on the weekends. Occasionally, I also like to entertain some guests over dinner.
If you have a room available and would be interested in sharing your home with a neat, quiet person who would typically keep himself busy in his room or department but would be communicative and sociable and who would be easy to talk to and hang out with while respecting individual boundaries, please let me know.
I can provide references from my previous roommate at Stanford and other friends. I am looking to move in on or after September 14. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have regarding me as a potential roommate.
Thank you
