Actors, comedians, impersonators needed for a research study@stanford.edu

The Interactional Sociophonetics lab at Stanford is looking for actors to participate in a study about language. The experiment takes place at the Linguistics department on campus and lasts one hour. Participants will receive $20.

During the experiment, participants will perform stereotyped characters while reading short scripts provided by the researchers. Performances will be audio-recorded while participants wear non-invasive linguistics equipment.

Participants must:

- Be 18 or older
- Be native speakers of American English
- Have some acting experience (for example, high school drama club, comedy performance group)
