Do you love mobile apps? Would you like to work with a world-class team in a fun and creative environment? Appsurdity, the creators of the voice-sharing social network Dubbler and the group chat application QUAD that is changing the way college students communicate, is looking for talented marketing interns to join us in our Redwood Shores office. Your responsibilities include:
- Work on and coordinate a wide range of marketing projects using social media and blogs
- Assist in creating content for PR materials & marketing campaigns
- Assist with event preparing, promotion and execution
Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will be enrolled in college or be a recent college graduate that demonstrates strong initiative, is an outgoing creative thinker, problem solver and nit picker.
- Strong passion to learn how to utilize all advertising & marketing mediums.
- Candidates must have excellent written communication skills and be active on all the top social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc. . .)
- Experience with Photoshop / Illustrator / Video Editing is highly desired.

Appsurdity is a new company dedicated solely to furthering the absurd and astonishing advancement of mobile apps and mobile communication. We want to find ways to unleash connections and communication and creativity that seem absurd today. But will become second nature not too far in the future.
We released Dubbler 8 months ago and it quickly caught on. There's now a community of nearly 600,000 Dubsters -- and it's growing every minute! Who's using it? Singers, rappers, DJs, radio personalities, students, voice over talents, comedians, birthday-wishers, bloggers, thinkers, observers, and commentators from around the world.
We are currently launching QUAD on campuses across the US. It is an app that knows exactly what's going on and the easiest way for big groups of students to chat, organize and share. It is the only free app that can handle chat for up to 200 students. You can set-up public or private quads for organizations or classes on campus and manage events, share class notes, set-up study groups and more.
