STUDENT JOB: Alumni Consulting Team (ACT) Administrative Assistant Position (8-10 hrs./ week)
The Alumni Consulting Team at the Stanford Graduate School of Business is seeking a student who is detail-oriented, reliable, committed, and resourceful, who takes initiative on projects, and who enjoys working toward a common mission with a small team.
Candidates must:
Be able to work 8-10 hrs/wk during the academic year.
Start work immediately or just after Thanksgiving break for training purposes
Work through winter quarter and part-time or full-time during the summer. Work during spring quarter is preferred but not required.
Tasks for this position include:
Maintaining ACT’s database of volunteers and nonprofits to track projects and applications
Setting up and running online tools for project teams (wikis and Google Drive)
Reviewing and updating the ACT website
Working with data reporting and program evaluation results and creating easy-to-use spreadsheets, charts and graphics
Drafting communications between ACT and its volunteers and clients
Additional tasks include web research, proofreading, assisting with event logistics, scanning and printing documents, running errands
Qualifications:
Office and administrative support experience
Independent, reliable, with strong commitment to accuracy
Proficient at Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Knowledge of SalesForce and/or University’s alumni database PostGrads is a plus but not required

As one of the largest pro bono resource providers in the San Francisco Bay Area, ACT donates approximately $3 million of consulting services annually.
