I would like to find a pleasant place near Stanford for January through March 15th (or there about). Ideally, I could walk or take public transportation, but I am also considering renting a car. I will consider a room in an apartment/condo/house, but not sharing a room. I need my own space. :) I would also consider a single unit a little further out: yes, professors are on a budget too - especially in the humanities! I am female, and I don't mind sharing spaces with males or females, GLBT, international faculty/students, on the contrary! I also like pets, although I don't have one. I don't mind if people smoke, although I don't. Actually, I don't mind too much of anything, only unfriendly, grouchy people get on my nerves after a while.
