Hi Android and iOS programmers!
Our all-Stanford team is developing a mobile app that will allow pick-up sports lovers to get out and play easier than ever. Our team, made up of two business school students and one law student, brings experience from professional sports franchises, start-ups, and top-tier management consulting and law firms, and we are looking to expand the team.
The app we are developing is called Whos.In. At a high level, Whos.In allows people to easily create pick-up sporting events by quickly selecting a sport, location, a time or range of times when they want to play, and which friend groups/networks they want to invite. The primary goal is to eliminate the constant back and forth needed to schedule a game, as well as build community through a shared love of athletics.
The most critical component of Whos.In is that games are scheduled on a "tilting” basis. This means that the organizer can choose the range of times that work for him/her, prospective players can input their availability, and once a time has enough players the game is automatically scheduled (the game “tilts”).
We are currently in the development and design phase of the project and are looking for talented, sports-loving programmers to join the team. If you think that might be you, please send an email to dfechter@stanford.edu.
Look forward to having you join the team!
