Hi,
I just rushed home to draft this post. Never thought I would be this kind of person, but now I know.
Anyway, we were just on a bus (the 1070 Arastradero) and it was remarkably bad ~ the bus driver was hard on the breaks and fast on the accelerator. To say the least, it's the closest to a near-death experience in a while – so I suppose my adrenaline is driving me to write this...clearly it wasn't enough to approach you immediately after though.
You were wearing an odd, but intriguingly unorthodox color palate: red pants with a grey shirt and knitted sweater (or cardigan?). You were carrying a bag with snowy owls on it, and another that was very colorful. Also an impressive necklace that looked like wings? Anyway, I thought you were cute... I wanted to ask if you would like to go for coffee or for dinner downtown.
I was the person in the brown, slightly oversized plaid shirt; nervously gripping the back of the seat beside me. A bit about me: I work in one of the research buildings on the main campus, and I like to go out occasionally and meet new people. Also, if it wasn't already apparent, I'm a bit long winded when writing things...though I'm not interested in writing to you especially...much rather talk. Clearly I'm a bit of a coward when trying to build confidence to ask someone out, but I think I can be charming in other ways.
On that note, I'm going to finish this up before crippling anxiety forces me to never post this.
Best,
S
