Who we are:
We are students in a human-computer interaction class who have designed a new interface for digital notetaking. Our goal is to improve the reading experience for college students.
Now we need to test our tool with real people. Are you an undergrad? Can you help us?
As a study participant, we will ask you to:
- Attend two 1hr15min sessions on campus. The first session will be on Wednesday, May 21st and the second will be on Wednesday, May 28th. Both sessions will take place between 4 and 8 pm, please let us know your availability during that time window.
- Read multiple short pieces of writing (1-2 pages) about a specific topic
- Write a short, 2-3 page essay about the topic, making arguments based on the sources read
You will receive:
- Total payment of $20 for your participation
- The satisfaction of helping us tackle a current challenge of learning in the digital age
