Job Title: Biostatistician and Study Design Consultant

Position Description: The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Stanford University is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working and professional statistical analyst and study design consultant. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team working with Dr. Nayer Khazeni on a wide variety of collaborative projects in public health, psychosocial determinants of health, and healthy behavior choices. Projects will include research that will help guide health policy at local and national levels through working with agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Required Qualifications:
PhD or MS degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or closely related field
Ability to think broadly about research questions
Experience effectively reading, writing, analyzing, publishing, and presenting academic papers
Strong oral and written English-language communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Fluency with at least one of R, SAS, or STATA

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience manipulating large databases
Experience using multiple statistical programming languages
