Hi,
I am a 24 y/old female Stanford student, am graduating with my master's degree at the end of summer quarter, and am looking forward to starting life in the real world! I hope to stay in the Bay Area with a preference towards Mountain View/Palo Alto and other cities in the Peninsula, but I'm constantly debating with myself whether I should try SF.
I am currently living in Palo Alto but my housing ends August 25, after which I am going on a 3-week overseas trip and returning Sept 15, so I would like to have somewhere to live by the time I return.
I'm looking for a place that is: close (0-15 min walk) to Caltrain/VTA Light Rail/BART,
(I don't own a car yet so easy access to public transportation is essential), safe & clean neighborhood, rent that is $1000 but ideally less. I'm willing to pay more if I find a great place. I am looking to share a place with 2-3 roommates.
About me: I need my alone time, but I also like roommates who are social enough to talk to me in the evenings/grab dinner occasionally/do fun outdoor activities.
