Hi!
I'm a phd student at Stanford, studying anthropology. I'm 28 years old (female) and starting my second year of the 5-6 year program next month. I'm currently looking for a place to live near campus. I'm a very respectful and clean roommate. In the past, I've been pretty sociable with my roommates. I love to cook, run, hike, rock climb, etc. So, I'm pretty active and am really into good food. As an anthropologist, it's kind of a given that I love to travel :) My work is in Albania, so sometimes I'm there doing research. I have a car, so I prefer living in a location where street parking is not a problem. My boyfriend lives a few hours drive from Stanford, so I usually leave on weekends to be with him or he comes up and stays with me. So, having him stay a couple times of month for the weekend needs to not be a problem. I hope it's not! I'm looking for a long-term situation, as in at least the academic year and hopefully longer. In the summers I usually go away for fieldwork, so I can either move out and put my stuff in storage or sublet my room for the summer if ok with the landlord and my roommates. Please let me know if you would like more information. I'm in Chicago right now but
am available to Skype and/or a friend can also stop over on my behalf. Thanks very much. I look forward to hearing from you. Very best, Dana Phelps
