I am a recent graduate from Stanford University offering my services as a short-term SAT or ACT and college applications tutor. I am also fluent in Spanish and French and able to help for those subjects as well.
I got a 2270 on my SAT's- 99th percentile (780 Writing, 760 Reading Comprehension, 730 Math)
and a 34 on my ACT's, also 99th percentile.
I have a lot of experience editing essays both in strong academic contexts and specifically for college applications.
This is better as a short-term arrangement, for example if your child (or you!) needs a few sessions, is struggling with one subject, or needs someone qualified to look over their essay, as I am only in the bay area over the next few weeks. I will be available for any questions over skype afterwards as well! I am very free over this period of time, and able to work entirely around your schedule and dedicate as much time as you would like. I have my own transportation and will come to you.
Companies around the area charge about $100 for these services, but personally I think that $50 is much more reasonable. (I am not working for them seeing as I won't be here long-term).
