NEXTGENVEST GROWTH & OPERATIONS LEAD - NEW YORK CITY

NextGenVest is a global community of students collaborating to effectively navigate key financial and life decisions. As the first student-inspired and student-driven mobile platform, we are seeking a full time employee to lead Growth & Operations. Working with a highly motivated network of global student ambassadors, engaging in a creative and nimble start-up culture, and impacting product development, make this an ideal opportunity for a capable self-starter interested in joining a fast-growing, funded, and mission driven start-up full time. This role includes a competitive salary and equity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute a growth strategy for the NextGenVest global student and school community.
Manage all marketing, communication, and social media with student and school communities including community questions, feedback, and referrals.
Plan engaging community building to engage top students, corporate sponsors, and media partners.
Work closely with the CEO to develop new product iterations based on user feedback.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:
Is passionate about inspiring and empowering students to fulfill their potential.
Is a strong multi-tasker that can set and articulate key growth metrics, execute on a strategy, maintain a high level of attention to detail, own and run with an idea without much guidance, and never let an item fall off a “To Do” list.
Has taken innovative approaches to building diverse and loyal communities.
Bonus points if you are proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of work experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with past experience developing relationships with industry leaders in Education and Finance a strong bonus.
Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisions and manage important existing relationships.
