WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
Shippo is a fast-moving startup building a powerful shipping REST API. Help us bring the foundation to a new level. We are a small but experienced team and we are looking to add motivated and smart software engineers to our group. As one of our early team members, you will have responsibility and flexibility in many decisions on a daily basis. We are currently building on Python but since we are fans of separating and isolating independent services, we are happy to discuss new ideas and approaches.

SOME THINGS YOU WILL DO:
Help scaling and streamlining the Shippo REST API backend to serve our customer base, growing 30% month over month.
Enhance our frontend to make shipping sexy.
Interact with sales and customer unit to understand and realize customer requests.
Make sense of a huge set of data to offer the best shipping rates on the planet to each one of our merchants.
Requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING IN SHIPPO INTERNS:
Excellent teamwork skills and ability to solve problems and tackle challenges together with the team.
Basic knowledge of Python, ideally some experience Django and Javascript / AJAX.
Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems and a willingness to take on new product features.
Interest in working on a rapidly changing, constantly-evolving system.
