Proficient in Javascript and interested in creating an interactive map this quarter?

We are looking for a Stanford student (undergrad or graduate) to help create an interactive map. Please see link for an example:

http://web.stanford.edu/class/history48q/Materials/maps/SouthAfricav6.html

You should be familiar with the data and geospatial/geolocating resources available from other agencies (for example, UNAIDS, World Bank, UNESCO Institute for Statistics), Google Map API and Leaflet. The projected number of hours is at least 20 hours this quarter, with the option of continuing next quarter for web maintenance.

Hourly pay varies.
