Just started a higher-level position at Stanford and looking for either independent quarters (1br apt, in-law unit, private entrance to studio, garage apt.) for my two well-behaved, house-trained senior dogs and me or am open to a roommate to join me in the search for a suitable 2br apt or small house in or very near Palo Alto. Trying to stay close to my budget cap of $2,000/mo. (For the roommate option, we could ideally look at a 2br in the 3,000-4,000 range). I'm considerate, mature, stable, non-smoker, non-drinker, and looking for a longer-term lease. My 8-year old rescue dogs are sweet, gentle, quiet and love people. I'm not looking to rent a room within a house with shared common spaces but to have private living quarters either alone or with another person. I keep very busy with work, exercise, going out with the dogs, or spending time with friends. Have a place? Or want to join in the search for a place? With respect to being prospective roommates, I'm male, very progressive, and open to living with people of different genders/backgrounds, though I do prefer a drug-free, smoke-free, and alcohol-responsible environment.
