I am a postdoc from Europe currently looking for the housing around Stanford for 6 months in the period: from 9’th of May to 21’th of November. I am going to study new research techniques in the Department of Anesthesia as a Visiting Scholar. I am looking for accommodation in a shared apartment – fully furnished bedroom with a bathroom access in near location from Stanford campus (preferably up to 40 min by local transport; Marguerite Shuttle etc.), for example Palo Alto or Menlo Park areas. The acceptable price form me with all necessities is up to 1200 $ / month.
I am very clean an tidy person. I like peace and quiet, I like animals, I do not smoke, I'm not the type of party animal, I avoid conflicts, I like order and cleanliness. Since my main activity will be to work in the lab, I am looking mainly for a quiet place to rest and do some paperwork. During weekends I'm going to explore the area and do some sightseeing. I would prefer a female roommate, who would chat with me from time to time.
