Hello! We are Sara Johansen and Madeline Grade, Stanford medical students looking to live with other graduate students, residents/fellows, or young professionals next year.
A little about us. Madeline is 25 and grew up in Arizona. She loves rock climbing, Radiolab, and became an English pub aficionado while living in London for two years. Sara is 26 and grew up in Alaska. She enjoys cooking for a crowd, knows more than is reasonable about Game of Thrones, and moonlights as a Zumba Fitness instructor at Stanford. We both love all things outdoors - we are leading the wilderness orientation backpacking trip for the medical school this year! We love meeting new people and getting together with friends.
General roommate details. We're laid back ladies and respectful of common spaces. We are tidy, but not crazy. Overnight guests are fine with us. We don't smoke. We're casual drinkers.
Madeline and I see this as a great opportunity to meet new people! Ideally, we want to live within biking distance of campus in Palo Alto or Menlo Park. We are happy to live in a house with 3 to 7 people total. We can move in anytime between now and mid-August. We would like to sign at least a one-year lease.
