Are you an outgoing undergraduate? Do you have a knack for making connections with others? Are you looking for a job that gives you an excuse to talk to new people every day? The Talk Lab is looking for a recruitment assistant. We are a new lab in Stanford University's Linguistics Department, and we are building up a database of conversations recorded in our top-of-the-line "Living Room" recording environment. It is an exciting (and easy) study to be part of, and we want everyone on campus to know about it!
Our recruitment assistant will spend ten hours a week advertising studies for the lab, soliciting participants via social networks, online advertisements, flyers, face-to-face interaction, and whatever other means you can imagine. You will schedule visits for potential participants, in coordination with other lab researchers. You are the key to getting our recruitment into high gear in the next quarter and beyond.
