Hi SUPost,
I'm a 22-year-old undergrad coming back from an extended leave of absence looking to rent a room off campus with my boyfriend (23). I'm originally from the Bay Area and he's from a town near Yosemite in eastern California. We've both lived with roommates before - I went to boarding school and lived on campus before renting a place with roommates, and he's shared a place for the past three years. I like to do yoga, make cocktails and cook. He likes to read, hike and build/fix things (was a carpenter for several years). We're both very quiet, have no pets and don't smoke.
We're looking for a room starting in September for next year - a longer lease is preferred. We have no problem sharing a bathroom if necessary and will happily contribute to communal chores, meal prep and household items if that's how you run things. We've been living in a tiny 400 sq ft house with a third roommate for the past two years, sharing expenses and cooking/cleaning duties, so any arrangement works for us.
I can be reached via email: mshoham@stanford.edu ; for now that's the best way to make contact since we're traveling in Southeast Asia until August. If it makes sense to do so we'll exchange phone numbers, Skype usernames and Facebook info.
Thanks in advance to anyone who sees this! Hope we hear from you soon.
