My wife and I have recently moved to Palo Alto from Toronto, and are in an apartment in the Ventura neighbourhood. The more we think about it, the more we have decided that it makes sense to house share. We will be here for at least two years, and would ideally like to move in August, but are willing to move earlier if necessary. We'd like to stay in close proximity to Stanford.

A bit about us - I'm a postdoc in comparative med at Stanford, my background is in animal behaviour with a focus on animal welfare. I'm an aspiring vegan, love strategy games, science, bike riding and I'm crazy about dogs.

Shes's unable to work due to current visa restrictions so she fills her days volunteering, cooking, attempting to bake, walking and exploring, and at Bechtel House on campus. She's fairly crafty, loves to make things, her educational background is in art.

We are fairly quiet, but not perfectly so! We do like to socialize, we probably will hang out in the kitchen and living room more than the bedroom, and we probably will want to have dinner with you and share a bottle of wine or some beer. We are in our early thirties if that matters!

We are open to a couples with a baby or one on the way, and/or a friendly dog or cat. We have a small, friendly, extraordinarily lazy dog ourselves (Boston-terrier-something-little-cross) who still lives in Canada. We may bring him over if we find a place that allows him.
