I'll be an intern this summer (mid-June to mid-September) around Santa Cruz and it would be really handy to have a car (not for huge road trips be more for the groceries, visiting some friends staying at Stanford for the weekends etc.)

For the record: I've had my French driving licence for 6 years (and my own car survived in Paris without a bruise) + a CA driving licence for a few months now. OK for a deposit.
