Description of Role
Marketing Consultant will help Co-Founders enhance Ascend’s marketing strategy and brand messaging.
• Build an aspirational brand that conveys the purpose and vision of Ascend.
• Develop end-to-end marketing and branding strategy for Ascend.
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop and execute marketing and branding strategy in partnership with Co-Founders.
• Conceptualize and create product branding.
• Design flyers, banners, press releases, business cards, swag, and other marketing materials.
Qualifications:
Required
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university.
• 2-5 years of experience in a marketing role at a company.
• Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
• Strong creative, design, strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience designing and delivering flyers, banners, press releases, business cards, swag, and other marketing materials.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.
Recommended
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in marketing, design, journalism or public relations.
• Prior experience in a marketing role at an outdoor or leadership development company.
• Passion for spending time in nature.
Compensation & Location
• Part-time
