Hi All.


I know how hard it is out there for everyone, but I'm just trying to put myself out there to see if anything comes back. I'm a Stanford PhD student in Modern Thought & Literature. I'm currently living out of state, but am looking to return to the bay area in mid August or early September to complete the two remaining years of my program. I am, however, willing and able to pay rent for part of july to secure a spot if the right place turns up. Ideally I'm looking to pay $1300 or less, but that can be negotiated.

I'm quiet, busy, a writer, used to living with others but tend to keep to myself, and am really just looking for a place where I can focus on finishing up my dissertation. I've lived as far away as Oakland before, so don't mind a commute to campus, but don't have a car so access to public transit is pretty necessary.
