For ad hoc updates to Worldview Stanford’s existing website. (New features, styling changes, some full page builds.) We are an on-campus program that designs interdisciplinary courses for leaders to connect them with new research happening on campus.

Requirements:
Ability to develop new features for our current drupal site http://worldview.stanford.edu (new site coming Sept 2015)

Follow brand standards for website design and layout. Ensure high quality and consistent look and feel across multiple devices and browsers.

Ability to perform standard installation and configuration, and theming in Drupal

Create and/or modify clean, well-structured, search engine optimization-friendly documented code

Provide technical expertise in front- and back-end web development

Solid understanding of web standards and usability methods

Experience working with media plug-ins. Our site uses video/audio and pdf viewers and will need maintenance over time

Expert knowledge of responsive design, media queries and mobile CSS frameworks

Experience working in a collaborative team environment using tools like Evernote, GoogleDocs, and BOX

Optimize the display of original online content, and collaborate with content and brand managers to implement new visuals and interactions

Experience working with a design driven team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work remotely or in office as needed

Qualifications
2 Years experience developing in Drupal
