I offer voluntary tutoring and support to PhD students who would like to get advice in any aspect of their PhD careers. Having recently received my PhD from Harvard and as a Stanford graduate ( class of 08) I am familiar with the challenges of the PhD journey and believe the process can be much easier with a bit of extra advice. Unfortunately many of the academic advisors do not fully engage in mentoring and this is where I would like to help. Please contact me if you are interested in getting help in any of the following areas or any other aspect of your PhD. I have mentored many students throughout my PhD and l love doing it!

Areas of advice:
- Communication issues with advisors, colleagues, committee members, lab members
- Oral Presentations, lab meetings
- Writing progress reports, papers, theses (more helpful if they are in Biology or Neuroscience)
- Poster presentations
- Keeping a healthy life style, work-life balance
- Uncertainties about choosing or pursuing projects, managing time
- Any other difficulties you would like to discuss

Looking forward to meeting new PhD students.
