Who are we?
Hello! The Poetic Media Lab is a Digital Humanities research and design group based in the Center for Spatial and Textual Analysis (CESTA) at Stanford University. We design and build creative platforms that promote new ways of conducting research, teaching, and learning in the 21st century.
What is this study?
We are looking for participants to read and annotate (highlight, write comments) selections of a novel for a study on readers of literature. You will get paid $20 for about 2 hours of time and you won't even have to leave your couch! You will need to have access to an electronic device (computer, laptop, or tablet).

Location: Anywhere, granted you have access to a computer or tablet.
Duration: About 2 hours, not including survey and instruction time.
Compensation: $20
What are the Qualifications to be a Participant?
You must be between 18 and 35 years of age, a native English speaker and reader, and have access to a computer or tablet (you will be reading and annotating on a computer). We have no restrictions on gender.
