I am looking for an intern for marketing and product development for my startup. I will pay $10/hour plus commission over per acquired customer. I expect about 10 hours per week. Potentially, he/she can be co-founder after successful seed-funding.

The ideal candidate must be an "out-of-the-box" thinker, highly organized, self-motivated, and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This candidate will be an integral part of our marketing team and will be encouraged to contribute with new ideas. If you're interested in wearing many hats and getting experience in a variety of marketing projects, this is a great opportunity to be creative and strategic.

Writing, marketing and technical skills are a must.

Location will be near the campus.

Primary Responsibilities
• Develop product for the startup company
• Find the client either through e-mails, phone calls, etc. For every potential customers, there is chance to get paid up to $30 as a commission.
• Assist with creating email campaigns, managing digital marketing advertisements, as well as, tracking paid (and unpaid) social media/content amplification initiatives
• Perform online and social research of industry, competition and media coverage
• Monitor and recommend emerging social networking trends and social media best practices
• Create and execute social media strategies driven by the overall business objectives

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience managing social media channels professionally or for school OR published articles for blog, newspaper, etc.
• A good knowledge of online platforms, emerging technologies, and trends in social media including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Twitter, and Blogs
• Hands-on with execution, along with the ability to help with strategic initiatives
• Must be self-motivated and not afraid to solve problems independently, yet still very open to mentoring
• Ability to multi-task, be creative, flexible and adaptable
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through is critical
• Skilled in Google Analytics, Optimizely, or other marketing automation and measurement tools
