We’re looking for a native Mandarin speaker (linguistics majors preferred) of around 10 hours / week for the next 2-3 weeks for a research project in San Mateo. Hours could be reasonably flexible, but something like 2x5 hour stints would work well.
We’d be willing to reimburse $25~$35 / hour, depending on experience.
You’d be working with our software, which is pre-alpha, so there’ll be bugs. An understanding of programming is somewhat desirable, but not at all necessary.
The work is trying to model Chinese grammar constructs so an understanding of grammatical terms, and how these appear in regular as well as slang Chinese would be necessary.
