A research laboratory in the Stanford School of Medicine is seeking an assistant to manage a zebrafish facility. Specific job duties will include zebrafish care and feeding, water quality testing, cleaning tanks and the facility infrastructure, ordering and maintaining zebrafish-related supplies, coordinating the service and repair of facility equipment, and keeping laboratory records. The assistant will also hire, train, and supervise undergraduate students who will help manage the zebrafish facility. The estimated time commitment is 20 hours/week, with the option of additional hours on weekends. The job position is open immediately and will continue through the end of December 2016.
