English Tutor Needed:
A Palo Alto family is looking for a Stanford student to be their young kids’ English and reading teacher. The goal is to help the kids build their vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension, and to develop their love of reading.
The ideal candidate is a native English speaker who is patient, engaging, and loves to work with young children. High school students with strong English literature backgrounds are also welcome to apply.
The commitment will be 2 sessions a week, at one hour per session.
Tutors should have the following availability. Either:
(1) Monday 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Tuesday: 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm
OR
(2) Tuesday: 4:15 pm – 5:30 pm and Friday one hour from this time frame: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
