We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic student to work professionally and efficiently with staff and faculty members.
We have a flexible, fun, and fast-paced work environment. Projects constantly vary, but may consist of: updating website and social media accounts, creating posters/flyers/maps for events, audio/video/photo editing, organizing, and archiving media material, data entry, running errands, and assisting with event set up and clean up. Careful attention to detail and reliability are really important. You should have web and computer proficiency and a professional work attitude. Experience with audio, video, and photo editing and design is a plus.
Some evening hours may be required.
Flexible yet regular schedule: 6-10 hours/week. We love students from all years - freshman and sophomores are encouraged to apply! Preference for Work Study students.
About Iranian Studies Program
The Hamid and Christina Moghadam Program in Iranian Studies fosters the interdisciplinary study of Iran as a civilization. Each academic year, the Program offers undergraduate courses related to Iran in such disciplines as language, literature, economics, and political science. It provides a wealth of events for scholars, students and the general public, which include conferences, symposia, forums, lectures and performances.
