The Human Computer Interaction group at the Computer Science Department and the Stanford Center for Design Research Automotive Interaction Group would like to invite you to participate in a study exploring Mindfulness-based [or health-based behavior change] experiences for passengers in cars and autonomous cars. We are exploring activities that make the experience of commuting to/from work more supportive of a healthy lifestyle.
We are currently running a study to explore mindfulness novel experiences and interfaces within a car simulator at Gates building room B23. During this study you will have an opportunity to test mindfulness activities as a driver or a passenger. Any person 18+ with a valid driver’s license and fluent in English can participate.
If you would like to be a driver, you will spend about 1 hour across different road courses and different animations. We will pay you with a $20 Amazon gift card.
If you are interested in participating contact Pablo Paredes at: paredes@cs.stanford.edu
