I am looking for a dog-lover to watch my very sweet dog over winter break. **It will have to be in your home,** since the owner of my place will be staying there while I am gone.

My dog is a young, very loving hound mix with no behavioral problems. He does not chew or destroy anything indoors, and is not an excessive barker. He loves people and other dogs but, given his ardent love of chasing squirrels, I don't think cats would be such a good idea. He's a big-time cuddler. He's always up for adventure and would love an active environment where he gets plenty of walks or even runs, but he's not annoyingly high-energy. I am not a high-strung dog owner so his care instructions will not be elaborate! Just give him some love.

The full range of dates I am away is December 15th-January 8th. For this entire period, compensation would be $600. Since this extends over the holidays when you may have travel plans yourself, I can include an option for you to bring him to a kennel he knows for any number of days within this period (subtracting $25/day at the kennel.) He could stay at the kennel the entire time, but I would really love for him to have more personalized attention.
