Elevate Prep is currently looking to hire tutors for the 2016-2017 school year. This is a fun, great paying, flexible part time job for people who love kids and are passionate about education! We're looking for tutors who are energetic, patient, and charismatic, who have at least 1 year of experience tutoring in a one on one setting. We are looking for middle school and high school math tutors who can tutor up to Algebra 2 or higher. We are also looking for tutors to help students prepare for the ISEE, SSAT, and HSPT. We will provide comprehensive training for tutoring these test, so previous experience tutoring these tests is not required! However, it would be great if you had some experience tutoring some type of test prep such as SAT or ACT.
This is an independent contractor position and tutors typically work 5-20 hours a week depending on their preference. Sessions take place at student's homes, so you will need a car. Students typically live in between Palo Alto and Hillsborough.
