Hi,

My name is Justin, and I'm a postdoc in biochemistry at Stanford. I've been living in the area for a while as I did my PhD in genetics at Stanford as well. I currently live in Redwood City where I have been since 2012. Unfortunately for me my landlord decided to sell the house I've been living in and I am going to need to find a new place. I need to be out of my current place by May 1st, but could move in as early as the end of March.

In my professional life my research focuses on CRISPR gene editing and synthetic biology in yeast. In my free time I like mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, snowboarding, scuba diving, and hiking. I'm generally easy going and respectful.

Moving with me would be 11 year old Australian Shepherd mix, Ruby. Ruby is a very well behaved dog who rarely barks, isn't aggressive, and honestly at this point in her life spends much of her day resting. He doesn't chew or do anything like that. I've had her since she is a puppy and I definitely need to find a place where she can move with me.

I am looking for either my own place or a house share where I'd have my own bathroom. I also am looking for a place that has adequate storage as I a fair amount of sporting gear (bikes, kayaks, camping gear, etc). If possible I'd prefer a house with a yard rather than an apartment complex.

If you have a place you are looking to rent or a house share and think I might be a good fit please contact me. I provided a recent photo of me and Ruby.
