Participate in a Stanford study to improve Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI)’s health information resources!
Who can participate?
Be between 18-25 years old
Be able to read, write, and communicate in English
What does it involve?
Complete an electronic survey (20-30 minutes) to explore how you access, navigate, and evaluate sources of health information. If you are interested, you may choose to participate in a focus group or 1 on 1 interview (60-90 minutes) to further discuss sources of health information, as well as provide direct feedback on AACI’s health magazine and website. Study participants will be paid $10 dollars for completion of a survey, and $20 for completion of an interview or focus group.
Why is it important?
We hope to learn how youth are interfacing with technology with regards to accessing and navigating sources of health information. The new knowledge will form the basis of a program assessment that will allow AACI to make targeted decisions and strategies regarding the aesthetics, design, and content of our website and magazine in order to more effectively reach youth with relevant, well-designed health information and resources. Ultimately this will help us understand how to effectively bring important health information to the youth for whom we provide services.
