Going Merry (www.goingmerry.com) is a marketplace for scholarships. We make it easy for students to apply for scholarships and simple for sponsors to create a scholarship and then find the perfect student for it. Improving the scholarship application process also allows us to build one of the most valuable financial services databases in the US, with numerous opportunities to monetize. We have a live beta operating in three high schools in the Bay Area.

We are looking for an Engineering Fellow to work with and learn from our CTO. S/he needs to meet the following requirements:
* >2 years experience in web development
* CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript experience for cross-browser application
* Experience with at least one client-side view framework such as React, Backbone or Angular (we use React)
* A deep understanding of user experience development e.g. transitions, animation, and interactive behavior
* Attention to detail
* Experience with responsive design techniques for mobile-friendly applications
* Team player
* Startup experience is a big plus

You’ll be working with a team led by a proven engineer and a Stanford MBA student. This is an opportunity to directly contribute to and shape the way Going Merry helps students access financial support and to receive mentorship and support.
