Hi there! My name is Jessica and I am a recent hire at Stanford University. I am currently living in Munger Graduate Housing for the summer, but I will need to find a new, long-term place by August 31, when my lease ends. I am looking at places that are available in the following areas: Escondido Village, Oak Creek Apartments, Menlo Park, Mountain View, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Fremont, Redwood City. My new place will have to be bike-able and/or be close to a Caltrain station (or a Stanford shuttle stop), as I don't have a car, so location is a big factor in my decision-making.
I'm looking for places between $1,000 and $2,000, whether it's a 1-bedroom apartment or a room in someone's house or sharing an apartment with someone. I also would prefer to live with only female roommates, although couples (retired or without kids) would be fine, too. I'm also looking for places with either a one-year, renewable lease or a month-to-month lease (somewhere where I could live for a year or two!). I'm available to move in either August or (preferably) beginning of September.
A little about me: I am 22, female, and a lab technician at Stanford University. I like to watch Netflix a lot and go out with friends on the weekends. I am very private and usually am very good at staying out of people's way! I would be open to being in a place with a small dog (not a very noisy one), but I'm allergic to cats so that's a no-no.
Please email me at jmagri@smith.edu if you would be interested in either rooming with me or have a place you think I would be interested in!
