In this free workshop the goal is to give people skills they need in the water to be able to float so there is time to be rescued. There will be a classroom discussion followed by time in the pool with one on one coaching and support from experienced swimmers on the PASA Cardinal Swim Team including certified lifeguards.

- 10 people a day drown in the United States

- Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for children under the age of 5, and the second leading cause for children under the age of 14

- Drowning is preventable.

Organized Evan Gold and PASA Cardinal Swimming with the support of SCRA and the USA Swimming Make a Splash Program. Volunteers available that can help in several languages.
