I just graduated from my Ph.D. program in Boston and started my postdoc here at Stanford this week. My wife and I are looking for either a studio or a one bedroom, preferably close to campus so I could bike to work. We are both clean and considerate. My wife ran a 4 bedroom B&B for 4 years, and I am handy around the house, so we are pretty self-sufficient and very easy tenants. We prefer to fix a problem ourselves rather than bother a landlord. We lived at our last place for 5 years, and then 7 years before that. We would like to live in one place while we are here, so looking for long term. We are generally homebodies, don't have parties, and neither of us smoke or have any other disruptive vices.
